My Life

My life is one rough road,
potholes everywhere,bumps here and there,policemen stopping me
when clearly i do not need to be stopped.

My life is a flurry of events
every minute counts and i cannot waste a second
even when my small,weary baby cries out to me,
i cannot stop and give her a hug and whisper to her “everything will be okay baby,just a little more time”
i cannot whisper to her because i have got to go to my workplace lest i loose my job and no longer put food on the table.

My life is complicated, i made it so
or at least everyone whispers in the corridors and when i pass by they pretend they are smiling,i just heard what you said.
I made it complicated by choosing to leave my baby’s father who beat me up,spat on me,ridiculed me……
complicated because i chose a life free of violence and the money
oh the money,glorious money they all worship.

My life is my own and when i say i will better my life,i will,i have just started…..

Loneliness

Loneliness.  Thats a ten letter word that can bring so much doom and pain to a single soul that you would not want to imagine. We all go through it in different ways. Sometimes one is able to deal with it and sometimes its so hard you just wanna die. But heres a thought, it is like an empty black hole that is not there and suddenly just appears ……………………………

Light

light.

I’m gonna read into the light

so you can see why these words are so bright they’ll make you fly.

they are words of hope and meant for those

who feel like they are dying

their life just by a thread hanging

you feel like the world has turned on you there’s no denying
